The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatrics both recommend a first dental checkup by age one or 6 months after the first teeth erupt to get babies off to a healthy dental start. 

Dr. Lewis will evaluate teeth, growth and development, diet, brushing regimen, and fluoride use.

She will give information about preventive measures to keep your child’s smile healthy plus discuss any concerns you may have about your child.
